The Impact of the Cross
John 15:13; Romans 5:8; Matthew 27; Luke 23
This morning we start Holy Week. This is Palm Sunday – the day when Christ had His Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. (Mark 11:1-10) Jesus set His sights on the cross! Jesus, God’s Son, took my place! That is what Easter is all about! The Cross is God’s “logo of love”! Every time we see the cross we are to think of His great love for us. This morning we want to spend some time reflecting on the cross.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
