I’ve studied the subject of the end times or the last things throughout my 30 years in ministry. As I study Eschatology and read the scriptures that there are two major points, the first is that time is almost up and the second is that opportunity is almost over! When we think of heaven it provokes joy in the believer’s heart but it also has a sense of urgency. This life can seem long and hard but the Bible says that our life is but a vapor, a mist, a twinkling of an eye, here one moment and gone the next. God’s grace is so sufficient and powerful that it can get us all the way home! Let’s consider life after death.

Guilt & shame are powerful forces that the enemy uses against us! Because of guilt we are often our own worst enemy! Even after we have accepted Christ we still struggle to cope with our past. Today, I hope to help you deal with any residual guilt and be free from its effects by the grace of God!

Jesus said in Luke 17:1, “It is impossible that no offense should come.” Offenses reveal the heart condition and maturity of the Christian. We desperately need God's “Get-a-long Grace” to be able to maneuver the minefields Satan puts in our way! Satan draws us into his trap by using "offenses" as bait. He wants you to get offended and then react and respond without love or grace.

Praise God for His saving grace! Once we received saving grace we are adopted into Gods Family and our new heavenly Father begins working on cleaning up all the “stuff” that fills our life that is not Christlike, not loving, not to His glory! He orders the Holy Spirit to go to work on us and that is when His Guiding Grace kicks into high gear! It is God’s way of moving us onward to maturity.
